O Lord, who has mercy on all,
Take our sins away from us,
May your Holy Spirit kindle,
Inward fires of righteousness!

Take our hearts of stone away,
Give us hearts of flesh to love you,
and adore you day by day!


O Lord, who has mercy on all,
Take from us our waywardness;
May we follow and enjoy you,
In the paths of holiness!
