“I want religion to change you.”

A devout Christian, who had made several attempts to bring a friend to a believing faith in Jesus Christ, was making no progress.  The friend, who had heard enough, tried to fend off any more efforts, by saying this: 

“It’s all in vain, you cannot get me to change my religion.”

“I do not want that,” replied the friend, “I want religion to change you.”
